Tom Gloster set up business as a potter 10 years ago, he is now very much established in his chosen career, selling his wares is shops all over the country, to places as far afield as Orkney in Scotland to the Isle of Wight. Tom specialises in contemporary kitchen ware. Myfanwy Gloster, having graduated with a first class degree in Fashion and Textiles in 2008. Set herself up in business as a textle designer, specialising in textile jewellery and home wares. Tom and Myfanwy metover 6 years ago, and have since exhibited at many shows together, and collaborated on several projects together and got married! "Pethau Melys" is their exiting joint venture; selling teas and home made cakes and also a selection of local crafts, including their own, which has been made on site. Based in the old Harbour in Porthmadog, the shop has a very much vintage feel. Tea is served in vintage china, and the work is displayed on vintage french apple crates. All the furniture has been sourced from auctions, sales, and second-hand shops, it is then re-furbished, and available to purchase in the shop.

Fe ddechreuodd Tom Gloster fel crochenwr,10 mlynedd yn ol, mae o erbyn hyn wedi ei sefydlu fel crochenwr o'r radd uchaf ag yn gwerthu ei nwyddau mewn siopau o Orkney yn yr Alban, i lawr i dde lloegr ag llefydd fel yr Ynys Wyth. Mae Tom yn arbennigo mewn crochenwaith nwyddau cyfoes i'r gegin. Myfanwy Gloster, ar ol graddio gyda Dosbarth 1af, mewn ffasiwn a tecstiliau yn 2008, mae hi bellach wedi sefydlu ei hyn fel dylunydd tecstiliau, ag yn arbennigo mewn gemwaith tecstiliau ag addurniadau i'r ty. Bu Tom a Myfanwy gyfarfod chwech flynedd yn ol; er hyn mae nhw wedi arddangos mewn swl sioe gydai gilydd, a chydweithio ar lawer prosiect gydai gilydd ac wedi priodi! "Pethau Melys" yw ei menter chyffroes. Yn gwerthu te, cacennau, ag hefyd detholiad o grefftau lleol, yn cynnwys crefftwaith ei hunan, sydd wedi ei creu yn y man a'r lle. Wedi ei lleoli yn yr hen harbwr ym Mhorthmadog, mae'r siop yn dilyn themau "vintage"; mae'r te yn gael ei dollti mewn i hen tseina, a'r gwaith wedi arddangos ar focsus afalau ffrenig or oes o blaen. Mae'r holl ddodrefn wedi ei brynu mewn arwerthiantau neu siopau ail law yn lleol. Ar ol ei hadnewyddu, mae rhain hefyd ar werth yn y siop.
